Juanillo Beach in Cap Cana

playa-juanillo-en-cap-cana

Playa Juanillo, located in the Dominican Republic, was a former fishing village on the east coast of the Dominican Republic. Today it is one of the most desirable stretches of white sand beach in the region.

Wide open, dusty and lined with palm trees, this stretch of sand extends from Cap Cana Marina to Sanctuary Cap Cana Golf & Spa Resort. Although open to the public, it can only be accessed through the Cap Cana Resort, making it a quiet, secluded tropical paradise for sunbathing.

This tropical gem is much less frequented than any of the more popular coastal stretches in the area, making it an excellent area to escape the large crowds.

Tourists traveling to Punta Cana without a rental car can tour and visit this tranquil beach on a full-day catamaran cruise, which includes the opportunity to swim or snorkel in the crystal clear waters of one of the country’s hidden cenotes.
